Meet the Fort Lauderdale Team Behind Flint Chimney Co Fort Lauderdale

We’re not a franchise that sends whoever’s available. The Flint Chimney Co Fort Lauderdale crew is a small, tight group of people who work together all year. Some of us came up through the Garrison Partners network, others through South Florida’s masonry and roofing trades. What unites us is simple: we show up on time, we know chimneys, and we put the written price in your hand before anything happens. Hank Delano owns this location and still runs calls when the schedule needs him.

Our People

Hank Delano, Owner

Hank started with Garrison Partners in 2002 and took over the Fort Lauderdale location after years running sweeps and repairs across Broward County. He’s on a roof most weeks, which means the person quoting your job knows exactly what the work actually involves. Hank is the one who pushed for the 365-Day Done Right Promise here in Fort Lauderdale because he got tired of watching homeowners get talked into repairs they didn’t need. Outside work, he’s either fishing off Dania Beach or rebuilding a 1968 Mustang that’s been “almost done” since 2019.

Marcus T., Lead Technician

Marcus has been sweeping and inspecting chimneys in Fort Lauderdale for eleven years, the last six with our crew. He’s our level two inspection specialist, which means he runs the camera through the flue and documents every crack, gap, and creosote deposit so you can see what he sees. Marcus grew up in Plantation and still swears by the same Cuban café on Broward Boulevard he’s gone to since high school. If Marcus tells you a liner looks fine, you can trust the photo he shows you to prove it.

Luis R., Senior Installer

Luis handles the heavy repair work: flue relining, crown rebuilds, and masonry repairs around Fort Lauderdale and up toward Oakland Park. He’s certified on DuraFlex and HeatShield systems and has installed every brand we carry, including Gelco, Olympia Chimney, Famco, and Copperfield. Luis came to us because he wanted to work somewhere that let him actually finish a job right instead of rushing to the next one. Most weekends you’ll find him coaching his daughter’s soccer team at Mills Pond Park.

Dana P., Service Coordinator

Dana is the voice on the phone when you call our Fort Lauderdale office, including the late-night calls. She’s been with Garrison Partners for eight years and knows our schedule, our techs, and how to route a call fast. Dana is not a scripted answering service, she’s a real person at a desk in our office.
